Bridegroom Xu’s paintings are mostly associated with sex, revolt, foresight, conjecture, destruction and reconstruction. In Xu’s consciousness, the absurd banter and order have enough impact to allow him to complete a painting. He uses this method - symbol or descriptions of events as icon of problem - to digest some other things. In most of his works, XU deliberately avoided the subject matter. His tactics are rough, so that the viewer’s attention could be directed to his expression.
