Gallery 55 is pleased to announce that Huang Saifeng’s individualexhibition "Space Beyond" will open on the 25th of June. Comprising newly created mixed material works on paper, the show will continue through the 17th of July. This is Huang Saifeng’s second solo presentation at the Gallery since 2019.

Huang Saifeng always believes that higher dimensional space and civilization exist, and the physical space we are in is just a projection of our consciousness. According to "Schrodinger’s law", we are in numerous parallel Spaces, and the objective reality is usually independent of the observer. Nothing is infinite because it is bounded by perception, and we spend our whole lives trying to discover the infinite. It is only through consciousness that we can cross the space-time barrier and travel in multiple Spaces. The new works are the exploration and extension of the series "Paradoxical Space". They are presented as overlapping and unreal spatial representation on the screen.

Huang Saifeng was orn in Shanghai in 1983. He graduated with a from Art Cllege, Shanghai Normal University in 2003; and a from Oil Painting Dept., Shanghai Drama Instuitute in 2004. Currently, he lives and work in Shanghai.
