Yin Changzhi’s creation revolves around the material framework, plane and spatial structure of painting, breaking through the historical practises of painting. Yin Changzhi tried to supplement the original painting plane system by using the free combination of cloth and frames to create and decompose a number of slopes: the boundary of a painting is therefore pulled, broadened or folded in different longitude and latitude relationships, resulting in more joints, tendons and epidermis. The construction process is both an action customisation and a viewing customisation. In this sense, Yin Changzhi tried to loosen the rigid relationship between the work and the audience with a temporary action by re-editing the conventional attributes of the painting. In the end, the translucent colour layer attached to the canvas and the frame are reflected in each other. They are constantly corrected in the process of repeated viewing, the boundaries are opened again, and their material parts have been reassembled to build new substrates and structures, and the mixed tone carried or escaped by those mobile plug-ins in various versions finally render the strange spatial hierarchy and perceptual texture of painting.
