Ye Xianyan’s works belong to a kind of concept and rational logic, emphasizing more on data analysis, to create visual formation. Her paintings have a strong sequence of combinations. She transforms the light of daily life, social media chats, diary, space into the same sequence structure of data, turning those boring diary and life into a visual image without using images. Order formation and numerical become graphics, space and time. Ye Xianyan’s “program” painting is a process of decoding and re-coding.
