Chen Duxi uses small Chinese brush to explore the continuity of agreement between water and body. Chen’s creations are about the different aspects of movements, growth and flow of water. A variety of forms of water are constructed from the same perspective for different objects, which include melting, flowing, traces, and the result of infiltration. The power of life itself could be witnessed in the cycle from the distant time and space to the future, and back to the most direct painting itself, using the method of movements to observe movements.

Chen Duxi was born in China in 1983. He holds a B.A. in Painting from Chengdu Academy of Fine Arts in China. He attended a Master Class at Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing in 2008. Currently he lives and works in Beijing, China.
